Bologna Youth Exchange We will be participating in a youth exchange program with the City of Bologna this summer when eight to ten young adults from the ages of 16-18 will come to stay with host families in Portland. They arrive June 30 and return July 14. We are currently taking applications for host families; our hope is to match up families with children of similar ages to their Bologna visitors so that we can then have these Portland youth go to Bologna next year. In this way, it's a "scambio" of both children and families. But this is an association-wide program and we hope you will participate in welcoming these young Bolognese. We'll keep you informed of activities that you may want to join or you may want to invite one or some of our visitors to an activity of your own. We thank all of you who helped raise funds for this by your contributions and your participation in our Sagra fundraiser. For information about Bologna's program, see http://www.giramondo.org/sezioni/sez169.aspx
